Front Office VBA Developer – VP recruitment
My client, who is a leading Tier 1 IB is looking to hire four highly motivated experienced Front Office developers to play a key part in the expansion of the Equity Treasury business globally. We are looking to hire a highly motivated, experienced Front Office developer to develop solutions for our business users. Not a typical RAD role as there is the need to develop a clear strategy before developing as well as developing a robust reporting framework.
Strong Adobe Flex, Excel / VBA , MS-Access Programming , SQL (Sybase/Oracle), Java Swing, and possibly knowledge of C# ( .Net technologies)
• Be able to establish strong relationships with the business users.
• Understanding of Equity Finance particularly Portfolio Swaps or Equity Swaps
• The candidate should be a quick learner and have worked in a Front Office environment.
• The candidate should have a positive attitude and have an ability to work well with a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills as you will be required to work with a wide range of people split across multiple destinations across the globe. With this in mind an ability to work with multiple groups on accomplishing common goals is required.
• Good understanding of full software life cycle development process
• Ideally experience of working in financial markets with knowledge in some or all PB supported products especially Stock Lending or Collateral management
• To degree level: Computing, Mathematics, Sciences or Engineering degrees preferred.
