ROLE SUMMARY:
Front To Back (FTB) Data Sourcing team focused on Loans products has the aim of delivering a startegic FTB business solution utilising the core infrastructural components within the strategic finance architecture.
The initial focus is to define and deliver a solution for Singapore Branch and once this solution has been implemented there will be a further roll out to the remaining relevant APC FSI entities being Hong Kong Ltd and Japan Ltd. during 2013.
The initiative will involve sourcing of the appropriate data from upstream Settlement and Risk Management Platforms that will be required to satisfy the global Loans rules and the multi GAAP treatment thereof.
In addition to the sourcing work there will be changes required in the Finance Gateway (validations), Opera DAL (Detailed Accounting Ledger) and the ARE (Accounting Rules Engine) supported by a full data and ledger conversion and FTB testing to ensure that all downstream reporting applications can accommodate the processing changes.
The job is for a VP position as the Project Manager on the FTB APAC Loans team that will require strong communication and organisational skills with the primary tasks being the execution of the implementations and the management of the various stakeholders communications. There is a small project team of 3 to 4 onsite supported by a global change team remotely. and will involve process design, gathering business requirements and the ability to articulate the solution to the key stakeholders and clients.
THE ROLE INVOLVES:
- Undertake the day to day project management responsibilities of the FTB APAC Loans implementations over 2012 and 2013.
- Establish and maintain a collaborative working relationship with PC / PC Change, FA / FA Change and their respective IT units to ensure that business requirements are captured, evaluated, and delivered against.
- Act as the primary face for APAC Loans for the key stakeholders within the APAC regions (FA and PC)
- Act as the primary liaison with the global FTB Loans team and the Loans Product Lead.
- Set up and host the regular forums both to communicate with stakeholders (STC) and to ensure that the various end users are engaged (Working Groups).
- Work in collaboration with the PC IT project manager to ensure all status reporting, planning submissions are made to FSI PMO in a timely fashion.
- Mobilise and manage the APAC project team to ensure that detailed execution plans are put in place to enable the delivery of the strategic loans infrastructure covering requirements gathering, functional specification definition, conversion strategy and testing strategy.
- Engage with other project teams to ensure cross project dependencies are quantified , tracked and managed appropriately.

Qualifications
TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST POSSESS:
- Work experience of 5+ years in either or a combination of the following: Financial Services industry, Consulting Services industry or Audit Advisory services industry
- Experience of managing finance change projects involving systems and process change
- Prior exposure to project management disciplines either as part of a formalised project management course e.g. PMP or as direct experience on projects would be advantageous
- Qualified Accountant or undergraduate degree in Accountancy, Business or Commerce would be preferential
- Strong analytical skills and ability to define and apply logical approach to issue resolution
- Strong communication (written, verbal, presentational) skills
- Good team player
- Prior experience in a line Product Control role would be advantageous
