Responsibilities:
• You will be involved in a broad range of statutory audit assignments for our banking capital markets, investment management and/or insurance clients based in China.
• You may be involved in selected advisory assignments providing advice on accounting for financial instruments, internal control risk management reviews, financial due diligence and transaction support, amongst others.
Requirements:
• You are a graduate with additional banking and/or accounting qualifications.
• You should have at least 6 - 8 years of proven and relevant experience with an international public accounting firm, with extensive experience in statutory audit.
• Experience in statutory and regulatory audits of banking capital markets clients is preferred but exposure to other sectors (insurance/investment management) will be considered.
• You will be based in China on an overseas assignment (minimum of 2 years) with the right to return to PwC Singapore after the assignment
• Fluent in spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin is a must) and English
• Additional experience in financial control, risk management, product control or back office functions of a financial services institution would be favourably considered.
• You should have experience operating in a managerial capacity.
