FS AUDIT MANAGER
Looking for a dynamic, driven and a qualified Audit Manager with an entrepreneurial streak and forward thinking approach to join a leading international practice firm to lead the growth of their FS division.
You must have recent external audit experience with strong project, team and client portfolio management experience with specialist knowledge of Financial Services including the banking sector in the UK.
Our client, a Top 10 Firm who provide specialist financial services work, are seeking a high calibre Audit Manager to work closely with Partners running a busy and exciting portfolio. This is an ideal opportunity for an Audit Manager with an interest in and knowledge of Financial Services sector to expand their portfolio and take on a new challenge within a progressive organisation who are currently experiencing an extraordinary growth period. The role will be based in London, with a very competitive salary and benefits. Duties include ensuring that all work is carried out profitably and to deadline, and ensuring that staff are managed and developed to their maximum potential.
To be considered you must possess the following:
* ACA/ ACCA qualified
* Post-qualified experience in audit within a reputable practice firm
* Good working knowledge of compliance and regulation
* Ability to support and mentor staff
* Strong project management skills form planning through to completion and review
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience of working alongside and building relationships with sophisticated business clients
* Strong commercial awareness
* Ability to liaise with internal team members at all levels from juniors through to Partners
* Managing your own portfolio
* Desire to play a pivotal role in the growth of the wider firm's business
Desirable
* Previous experience of client work in Financial Services including banks
* Experience of large audits and complex groups in addition to dealing with complex technical matters
* Financial services experience is desirable but not essential, although candidates must have an interest in FS and a drive to succeed.
