Full Job Description

Key responsibilities:
Coordinate the review of funds transfer pricing with Treasury for the Trade Working Capital business to ensure accurate funding costs are assigned trade and working capital products.
Ensure that funds transfer pricing assumptions incorporates products` contractual and behavioural characteristics
Work with Treasury and Finance to develop metrics that are incorporated into monthly business review reports and inform business strategy and product development.
Assistance in implementation of balances and liquidity funding forecasting methodology to ensure optimal allocation of funding resources across trade and working capital products.
Provide advice on appropriate funds transfer pricing and liquidity treatment of new products prior to new product approval process.
Ensure that the liquidity reporting system operates as efficiently as possible and is updated for any firm wide system changes by liaising with IT to provide business requirement specifications and conducting and signing off UAT.
Keep up to date with regulatory changes impacting liquidity reporting and providing analysis on the impact to the business. Ensure that product team is fully up-to-date on liquidity and regulatory developments

Understanding of funding and liquidity risk concepts such as contingency funding plans, liquidity stress testing, funds transfer pricing and liquidity ratios
Strong skills in manipulating data, extracting information from databases, and using the MS Office Suite of products and-or Bloomberg to prepare reports and-or presentations
Bachelors degree in business, economics, finance, or other analytical field
Extensive experience working in a complex financial institution, preferably a large bank Academic exposure to and-or experience working with complex financial markets concepts and structures, financial analysis, and-or risk management desired
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, including a willingness and ability to understand financial market security structures and funding mechanics
High level of self-initiative required, including an ability to balance and execute on multiple projects at once and to deliver results under tight time constraints
Experience in a Treasury department or a business unit of a corporate bank will be preferred.
Able to demonstrate experience to organise and lead across different time zones.
A strong communicator with coordination skills.
Strong analytically with problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to work independently.
Able to work in a highly organised manner.
