FTSE organisation dynamic lively environment. Recent expansion and good trading figures has resulted in a key transformation programme to up-skill their procurement team and as a result, are seeking to recruit a dynamic IT Senior Buyer to strengthen the IT category team.

As such, my client expects the right candidate to be able to significantly advance their purchasing career internally within a few years.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will be working on a range of different Purchasing projects for the IT Portfolio, including Hardware, Software, Networks, Support, Services and Consultancy. This is a global procurement function and you will be responsible for implementing and developing the category strategy in partnership with the internal stakeholders.
The jobholder will also be expected to develop strong relationships with key suppliers and C-level stakeholders as well as taking the lead in vital negotiations.
REQUIREMENTS
Specific industry experience is not important
You will have a demonstrable depth of IT procurement experience.
Dynamic and ambitious individual with excellent communication skills, seeking to develop your procurement career within a top FTSE organisation.
Ideally qualified to degree level, with MCIPS or working towards CIPS
Salary: Up to £47k + Car allowance, Bonus, excellent pension, life and medical insurance, employee incentive holiday and travel discounts.
