a senior faculty position.
Full Professor of Accounting and Auditing
(female/male)
Candidate profile:
- Graduation from a Business School and/or Law School with a PhD or
equivalent post-doctoral qualification ("Habilitation") - Research focus: International Accounting Standards and/or the convergence
of national accounting regulations (i.e.. German HGB) - Record of quality research as evidenced by publications in international
refereed journals - International background desirable. Excellent teaching record a must.
Ability to teach in English in Bachelor, Master and international MBA
programmes mandatory and ability to teach in German on selected programmes,
e.g. EBS Law School. - German or an international CPA certification. Practical experience in an
auditing company a plus. Academic leadership potential completes candidate's
profile.
At the interface of EBS Business School and EBS Law School,
the Department of Finance, Accounting Real Estate (FARE) plays an
important role. FARE offers teaching in both schools, which requires frequent
coordination between the Chairs of Accounting, Controlling Taxation
(ACT).
We offer a dynamic and team-oriented environment and seek to
nurture inter-disciplinary approaches to original research topics. Dialogue with
EBS faculty is deemed as important as communication with corporate
partners.
