Full-stack Developer (PHP / LAMP)
We are looking for experienced PHP / LAMP Full-stack Developers to join our recently created team in Lisbon. You should have a passion for clean code, new technologies and great products as you will create, and manage features on our future products.
You'll be carrying out development work within the Totemic Technology software products for existing and new client projects, you'll be involved in continuous code improvement, documentation and unit testing, as well as working for an award winning specialist software company based in the UK, top 20 Time top companies to work for.
Main duties:
- Symfony 2, MySQL and Oracle development on existing client instances and new projects
- Documentation and unit testing
- Working with the technical team to ensure client implementations are carried out accurately, within set timescales and within an Agile environment
- Version control/modularisation for all instances currently using GIT
- Development and integration of various third party API’s
- Working with Zend 1 or Symfony 2 framework
- Understanding, observing complying with the Company’s information security policy and ISMS at all times
Main requirements
- Highly proficient with PHP, able to build code to the highest quality with clear ideas of application design patterns
- Experience of working to scope of works whilst developing new functionality
- Experience of MySQL Databases
- Experience of Zend, Symfony 2 or other ORM/MVC frameworks
- API development and automated testing
- Business logic development and testing
- Version Control experience (GIT, SVN, TFS, Atlassian Software etc)
Nice to have
- Experience building interfaces using HTML, CSS, JQuery Javascript
- Experience with agile project management
- Experience with Apache 2 and htaccess rules
- Experience with Oracle Database
- Security Experience
