Blue Flint Ethanol has an opening for a full-time Manager of Human Resources and Corporate Services position. This position will be responsible for leading, planning and directing of the human resources and corporate communication functions at Blue Flint Ethanol. This position will serve as the first point of contact for management staff and employees on human resource matters. This position also will be responsible for the development of corporate communications for internal and external relations plus the management of corporate IT and office needs. Essential tasks will include evaluating and administration of the company's benefit program, developing and implementing employee recruitment and retention strategies and other human resource programs, maintaining and administering the company's compensation program, fostering and facilitating employee development, and managing the company's IT resources. Knowledge and understanding of employment laws, human resources theory, practices and legal requirements, compensation laws and regulations preferred. Skills in consulting, collaboration, innovation, strategic thinking and decision making required. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization required. Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field and a minimum of 5 years progressive experience required. Additional education or experience including supervisory experience may be preferred.
