Content House is a shared service of Thomas Cook that delivers content management tooling, for data and image management, to publish to print and web channels for our customer countries. Currently, that means Netherlands, Belgium and France with more countries in the pipeline.

Role responsibilities
The functional analyst is a member of the Content House, dedicated to the Development Team, and is responsible for translating internal customer business needs into good quality functional designs. Our technical environment is complex, therefore we require a functional analyst that can dig into their own technical toolbox and take the lead in managing projects and the associated change through the development and implementation cycle.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements
- Project management role for large changes and projects
- Manage alignment with business, technical, operations, development teams and suppliers
- Assisting in testing, training and documentation
- Initiate general process and system improvement on interfaces, efficiency, usability, etc.
- Analyze management information from various source systems
Profile
- HBO / WO / Bachelor / Master diploma
- Preferred experience and genuine interest in Content Management
- A robust sparring partner, sensitive to business needs and maintains the bigger picture
- Strong analytical skills, able to find solutions and formulate these in improvement plans
- Adequate technical knowledge when it comes to content streams, workflow, database with specific knowledge of SQL, XML, XSLT and JAVA preferred
- Experience with UML and other relevant design techniques is a plus
- Spoken and written English and Dutch are a requirement
- French will also be useful
