 Functional Analyst-Market Risk IT Tier 1 Investment Bank AVP

Functional Analyst/ Business Analyst with strong financial services background and willing to work as a Senior Business Analyst/Requirements Engineer in a Techno Functional role. Exposure to Risk domain and Investment banking products are preferred.

The ideal candidate will be currently working as a functional analyst, you will be responsible for designing technical solutions to business requirements within the Risk and PL domain.

You will have a strong product knowledge of Credit Derivatives-particularly the delivery iof various risk measure and scenarios to the front office.

• Strong background in software design development;

• Strong financial services domain knowledge, ideally including market risk.

• Data Modelling.

• Work closely with business and delivery team for requirement prioritization and planning.

• Support a team of 15+ developers

• Act as Functional point of contact for the delivery QA team

• Conduct interviews, facilitations with business users on complex topics and issues

• Provide subject matter expertise to support the development and validation of quality assurance, application architecture, testing and other project deliverables at the sub-department level.

• Accountable for sign off on Functional specifications, Requirements validation

• Identify, document and communicate to stakeholders the cross application dependencies, upstream/downstream system impacts and its appropriate closure

• Ensure the business engineering standards and SDLC workbench standards are applied

• Ensure the traceability of individual requirements and adherence to the defined requirements management process.

• Requirements validations are done exhaustively before QA testing

• Participate in initiatives to improve business engineering practices and standards
