Functional Architect – Investment Bank – Sub Ledger, P&L, Financial Reporting recruitment

Tier One Investment Bank require an experienced Functional Architect to act as an  SME and thought leader in their Domain Architecture. The Functional Architect will join this leading, and thriving, Investment Bank to define and deliver the End State Functional Architecture for Transaction Accounting and Financial reporting processes. The candidate will work closely with the Product Controllers and the Technical Architect to define the Sub Ledger requirements and outline the end state architecture. The scope includes defining transaction accounting and control process across all asset classes including trade, valuation, settlements and profit and loss (PL) activity and associated trail balance journal entries. This role will have oversight of a team of Business Analysts and Testers and will be supported by the Information Technology (IT) development team. This is a good opportunity to define and deliver enterprise class IT architecture in a cutting edge environment. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Functional Architect with a good understanding of Transactional Flow, PL, Sub Ledger and Financial Reporting with significant Architecture capability. The candidate should also have extensive experience in Business Analysis and be able to follow structured methodologies and best practices in managing full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for CTB.
