Functional Architect/ Solution Architect - Commodities, ETRM, commodity trading, gas, power, coal, energy, front to Back Office
A Highly experienced Functional Architect/ Solution Architect with extensive experience in designing commodity trading systems is required for an International Integrated Energy Trading institutions based in South West London.
Functional Architect/ Solution Architect will be responsible for the application architecture, design and for ensuring a cost effective solutions from Front to Back office. In doing so you will have exceptional experience in the development of IT Trading software for ETRM.
The Functional Architect will work closely with the Business leaders and C-Level services providers to ensure that the production systems are fit for purpose and can be rolled out. You will be responsible for developing a functional solutions roadmap aligned with the business and IT strategy and managing the process full cycle from start to finish.
As Functional Architect/ Solution Architect - Commodities, ETRM, commodity trading, gas, power, coal, energy, front to Back Office you will need to have the following experience:
* Experience covering all aspects of Commodities trading including trade capture, valuation, risk management, logistics and settlement covering UK/European markets for Power, Gas Oil
* Expertise in derivatives modeling, pricing, hedging and risk management techniques
* Leading complex tactical and strategic delivery with a team of quants, business analysts and developers
* Appreciation of broader aspects of enterprise change programmes in terms of profession and technology
* Ability to articulate complex technical solutions to individuals with varying levels of technical expertise
