Parsons/MAI is looking for an experienced Functional Specialist-Advisor (Senior) to provide expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, and thought leadership to the client and/or project team based on specialized deep expertise in such fields as: engineering and technology; policy and administration; planning; analysis; training and development; facilities; communications; visual design; human capital; business; and management. This individual will also ensure the appropriate quality characteristics have been integrated into products; monitors products and services throughout the life cycle; validates/verifies adherence to specified requirements through test and measurement activities; manages/leads quality assurance activities. This is a proposal effort and pending award is anticipated to be available approximately 01 January 2012. Qualifications - Graduate Degree or equivalent - 15+ years of specialized experience - Experience in providing senior level management support to strategic planning and/or performance management efforts within NGA or across the Intelligence Community. - In-depth knowledge of the NSG to include NGA's relationships with other IC Agencies and the role NGA plays in the IC DoD community as the Functional Manager to the NSG. - Understanding of Geospatial Intelligence and AGI, and its application across the Community, to include civilian and military components, as well as NGA's Foreign Mission Partners. - Ability to work independently with minimal or no oversight. - Ability to brief senior managers and staff members to effect decisions. - Ability to prepare and present technical topics in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing. - Ability to plan and facilitate meetings on topics of interest to senior level management. - Expertise in building, monitoring and modifying metrics plans. - Communicates effectively both orally and in writing. - Ability to work in a very dynamic work environment as a team member. - Ability to work effectively under pressure. - Expertise in Microsoft software applications. - Ability to meet timeframes and schedules consistently. - Ability to communicate complex information effectively. - CLEARANCE: A current TS clearance with SCI access is required.
