As part of the creation of a new Portfolio Management product offering, Asset Arena is currently looking for a Functional Tester/QA. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing a J2EE Asset Management Front Office Application (AA360 -covering the whole scope of Front Office activities: Portfolio Management, Compliance, Performance, Reporting), ranging from functional release testing and scheduled patch releases, to hot fix patches. More particularly, in the first phase of the project, the candidate will work closely with the Paris Product Management team to define and put in place the QA strategy (test case definition, test plan)

Responsibilities
Participate in all phases of test execution and documentation including functional, regression, performance, usability, integration and acceptance testing.
• Develop and refine full functional test plans and test case templates, test strategy and estimate workload requirements.
• Develop Quality Assurance test plans and test cases to thoroughly test the business applications based on the clients' requirements and the development release documents.
• Document and perform functional, regression, and integration testing for all releases.
• Engineer test data to be used in the various testing types throughout the software development life cycle: configuration testing, installation testing, performance testing, fail over testing, stress testing, and volume testing.
• Work closely with all other technical teams to ensure effective cross-team coordination during the testing process.
• Identify, log, report and tracks defects found in the release. Prepare clear and concise written reports on defects found during QA process.
• Communicate test plan status to the QA Director to promote effective critical path decisions for the release.

Position Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in an IT-related discipline or the equivalent of education and experience
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant QA experience (preferably in Asset Management)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self motivated, strong initiative, flexible and good time management skills
• Enthusiastic, team-building attitude and able to work with little guidance
• Ability to meet deadlines, goals and objectives within assigned time limits
• Knowledgeable of Quality Assurance methodologies and SDLC is required
• Ability to create and execute functional test plans and test cases
