Responsibilities:
The focal points of your tasks include the design of engine control functions from different fields
The model based oriented development activities include
- requirement management
- design, specification
- matching the content with our in-house customers
- implementation support for software in all sub-functions of these topics
- assure proper documentation of the development process
You are also responsible for the functional tests including intensive trials using Software-/Hardware-in-the-Loop at our simulator and on engines.
Your varied scope of activities is complemented by regular coordination with the application owners and development partners within Wärtsilä.
Requirements:
- BSc or MSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge in automation and control
- Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink preferred
- Basic knowledge on combustion engines (best 2-stroke engines) preferred
- Systematic, analytic and technical mind
- Self motivated positively acting personality
- Ability to work in teams and to drive conclusions among individuals of different groups
- Willingness to do testing (also at our customers abroad)
