About our client
Our client is one of the most successful European private equity firms, a highly regarded brand with an outstanding reputation in the market. The firm is actively investing a number of dedicated funds including in buyouts and infrastructure. It is now seeking to hire an experienced fund accountant on a contract basis to assist with the preparation of the various entities and accounts for the year end audit and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Your role will include quarterly preparation of fund financial statements and capital statements for 10 different funds, as well as quarterly management accounts for the relevant corporate vehicles and investment holding companies. You will also review book keeping postings in individual ledgers and liaise with the companies’ own auditors and other external auditors as appropriate and handle ad hoc accounting and other information requests from colleagues
Skills we’re looking for
- Recognised accounting qualification (eg ACA, ACCA)
- Fund accounting experience, whether from within a fund or as an external auditor
- Previous Private Equity fund accounting experience is highly desirable but not essential
- Flexible approach to working and good time management
- Strong interpersonal skills
