Fund Accountant

Outstanding opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join this pioneering and growing private equity firm in a newly created role. With impressive fund returns and a portfolio of first class investments, this company is an established fund manager with a diverse product offering and proven expertise in private equity.

This role is central to the continued expansion of the business and suited to a Fund Accountant with experience in another private equity firm, fund administrator or Accounting firm. The role will focus on all reporting for their flagship private equity fund including managing the day to day relationship with the administrators, quarterly and year end financial accounts, cash flow forecasting and analysis, support to investor relations and assisting the deal team around structuring and recording transactions as well as a host of ad hoc projects. There is strong long term potential to develop with the company and take on added responsibilities given their current rate of expansion. Finance was one person five years ago and is now six people, with exposure from day one to the whole of the business and front office.

We're looking for someone with proven credential in private equity Fund Accounting or alternatively an individual looking for a first move out of Practice / Audit into industry. Knowledge and understanding of funds and/or private equity accounting concepts is essential and it's anticipated that you'll be at least a couple of years post qualified (or equivalent).
