Fund Accountant
Newly created opportunity for Fund Accountant to join this boutique real estate investor in a newly created role that could very quickly grow to become more of a Financial Controller position. The business itself is still relatively new with the FD urgently requiring a right hand person. They are backed by some heavy weight investors with a credible, experienced and well networked management team.
This role will focus on a diverse range of financial support to the business including all aspects of fund and corporate accounting, management reporting around the portfolio and individual assets, performance forecasting and analysis and a range of ad hoc tasks and projects. It is very much a blank sheet of paper for you to come in, hit the ground running and build out the role and structure of finance as you see fit.
We're ideally looking for people from two backgrounds - an experienced Fund Accountant coming from a similar role at another property investor or administrator or someone working for a large Accounting firm with relevant real estate client exposure. Real estate fund management experience is however essential.
Aside from this, you'll need to be comfortable with the small size of the business and happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. Longer term there is massive potential to grow with the business, take on management responsibilities and develop your FD/CFO credentials.
