Purpose of your role
The prime objective of the role is the preparation of annual and interim financial statements for a wide range of funds to include OEICS, unit trusts, unauthorised unit trusts and investment trusts. The jobholder will work in a team with other fund accountants and will have responsibility for specific funds.
Your key accountabilities
- Preparation of interim and annual financial statements for a range of ICVC Funds including liaison with the auditors, resolution of queries and reconciling to trustee/depositary audit statements
- Preparation of revenue forecasts and yields
- Keeping abreast of industry and technical pronouncements
Your skills and experience
- Previous work experience in the Financial sector
- Understanding and knowledge of the investment management business
- Proven ability to communicate and work with all levels of personnel
- Proven ability to prioritise and organise own time
- Self starter/motivator
- Dynamic “can do” attitude with a strong desire to make things happen

Desirable skills
• Part Qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
