Fund Accountant – Real Estate recruitment
An opportunity has arisen for a qualified (ACCA or CIMA) Fund Accountant to join this City based property investment firm. The role will be temporary for around 4-6 months to cover an exciting period of transition at this organisation.
The right candidate will:
- Have had previous exposure to the Real Estate sector
- Have a proven background in Fund Accounting
- Hold an accounting qualification (ideally ACCA or CIMA)
- Be immediately available
The role will involve:
- Producing accurate and timely NAVs
- Producing annual and semi annual financial statements
- Provding accurate and insightful information to relevant parties such as Boards, investment committees and auditors
- Managing fund structures and set up and remove companies as necessary
- Determining cash and debt requirements for each company and implement changes
- Managing audits including reporting to audit committees
- Ensuring all companies meet compliance deadlines including VAT and tax reporting
- Managing fund structures ensuring loans in place and cash requirements met
- Managing transactions including purchases and sales
- Setting budgets and produce variance analysis
- Setting up new funds, appointing the necessary parties, structuring and management
