Job Responsibilities:Maintain books and records for Private Equity Fund clientsBook and review all investment and fund related journal entries (e.g. purchases, sales, stock splits, interest, capital calls, and distributions) for specific fundsPrepare bank reconciliations for cash accounts on a monthly basisAssist in the monthly/quarterly close for various funds and completion of related control documentationAssist on various ad hoc projects throughout the month (investor reporting and other miscellaneous client requests)Maintain investor information

Qualifications

Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA plusThorough understanding of US GAAP; Investment Accounting knowledge/experience preferred3
years of related work experience; public accounting experience, plusProficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting general or sub-ledger applications a bonusDetail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects effectivelyStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients and colleagues at all levelsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and escalate issues when appropriate
