Fund Administration Associate recruitment

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
This position will report to the Senior Vice President of Business Administration
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This newly created position will be responsible for the administration and servicing of both US and non-U.S. investment
products. The role will be to:
? Serve as a liaison with various fund services providers including domestic, Irish and Luxembourg-domiciled funds' transfer agents, administrators, fund accountants, custodians and auditors to ensure smooth and accurate processing and reporting. Coordinate mutual fund administration pertaining to both on-shore and off-shore
registered funds.
? Provide high level of support in the development and preparation of both domestic and international board of trustee meetings.
? Assist in the coordination of new product/fund launches for both domestic and international mutual fund families.
? Assist with the implementation and ongoing management of firm enterprise risk management program

? Assist in other ongoing projects and initiatives as required.

? The Fund Administration Associate will be a key, integral member of the
team at Matthews and should have a successful track record working in a small team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires:
? 5 - 7 years of domestic/international fund administration experience in the global investment management industry
? Bachelor degree required, Masters degree a plus
? Experience working with US and non-U.S. investment funds, and experience working constructively with administrators/transfer agents of those funds.
? Demonstrated ability to forge constructive working relationships with internal colleagues and external service providers to achieve results in a timely, accurate manner.
? Meticulous attention to detail, particularly with respect to board of trustee communication.
? Understanding of investment terminology, including the vocabulary of investment fund structures.
? Long-term conviction for Asia, an understanding of Asian cultures, and an intellectual curiosity about the region
