Fund Administration Supervisor recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and review the implementation of the operating model, with appropriate processes and workflows as agreed and documented with clients, in line with State Street’s policies and procedures.

• Work with direct line manager to ensure the delivery of services to the client is sufficiently resourced to meet the agreed deadlines.

• Liaise with client’s team; maintain and build client relationships.

• Provide solutions to ad hoc investors’ reporting request / reporting needs.

• Coordinate discussion and documentation of portfolio investment valuations with clients.

• Assist Line Manager in annual audit coordination.

• Ensure processes and workflow efficiencies

• Review of administration work performed by staff on the client service team, including capital calls and distributions and notices to be disseminated to investors

• Review of accounting work-paper packages, financial statements under IFRS/US GAAP and other reports and communications for several clients

• Review accounting transactions of the fund by senior fund accounts

• Review monthly closing of fund books and prepare or review periodic financial statements

• Perform analytical procedures and fluctuation analysis on quarterly financial statements

• Lead meetings/discussions and document on various accounting issues and portfolio investment valuations with the client

• Assist with implementation of accounting policies and procedures

• Design and review waterfall calculation for fund distribution

• Line management responsibility for the junior members in the client service team.

• Assist with development and implementation of training all levels of accounting staff

• Provide coaching to members of the client relationship team

• Present accounting/technical workshops to potential clients

Requirements:

• Must have experience in preparation or audit of financial statements in accordance with IFRS/US GAAP and AICPA Audit and Accounting guide for Investment Companies

• Must have a background in the alternative asset industry

• Qualified accountant (ACA/CPA)

• Understanding of partnership agreements

• Strong people management skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Team player
