Fund Administrator – Fund Administration, Investor Relations, Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund recruitment
Multi $bill/Multi Strategy Hedge Fund is looking to hire a Fund Administrator to work within the Investor Relations team based in the London office. We are looking for an analyst with experience in dealing with investor transactions, shareholder information, HNW client reporting and Fund accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate transactions - subscriptions, redemptions, switches, transfers
- Apply any necessary rebates to the transactions (percentage, payee, duration etc)
- Manually upload transactions into client database
- Liaise with internal departments, fund administrators and external introducers / investors regarding calculation of rebates and holdings queries
- Maintain information on all fund dealing and assets under management
- Update firm-wide database with estimated and final AUM figures for each fund
- Report all cashflows to senior management on a weekly basis
- Advise other departments of FX hedging necessary due to non-base currency dealing per fund
- Maintain / generate consolidated valuation reports for the CEO
- Send weekly and monthly performance estimates to marketers / investors / external databases
- Work with internal IT departments to enhance internal systems
Requirements:
- Strong academics to degree level
- Min 2 years experience in finance ideally including accounting/financial modelling experience.
- Presentable, confident and professional
- Detail-oriented, highly numerate, and accurate
- Computer literate – good knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, especially Excel. Good PowerPoint skills are advantageous.
- A good understanding of FX hedging would be advantageous but not essential
- Uses initiative and works well under pressure
- Excellent team player
