The Fund and Asset Manager Rating Group (FAM) is focused on providing the market with timely, prospective and informative ratings and related research on funds and asset managers. The Group currently maintains close to 1,000 fund and asset manager ratings worldwide.

Job Description

 

The successful candidate will be in charge of conducting in-depth analysis and ensuring regular monitoring in order to rate asset managers and funds. He/she will also establish a working relationship with relevant officials, update databases, write rating reports, present a rating committee and prepare reports for publication, including press releases. It is important that the candidate should be able to work independently while also being a good team player and be able to cope with time pressure and deadlines.

Person Specification

 

We are looking for an analyst with a first hand experience in asset management (front office, internal control, fund selection, client servicing, RFPs), banking or in audit firms and a good educational background, including strong results at degree (or equivalent) level.

You must have a  balance of incisive numerical and analytical skills, together with an ability to speak and write concisely in Portuguese and English (additionally, Spanish language skills viewed as a plus) combined with an ability to work to tight deadlines and display a strong degree of flexibility to take on additional responsibilities, as required.
