Fund and Investor Services Associate & Senior Staff (Staff Mentorship/QC/Investor Transactions/Process Improvement) Investment Management recruitment
We are seeking exceptionally motivated, highly focused fund and investor services professionals for these very challenging opportunities.
Senior: At the Senior staff mentorship/leadership level, we are seeking individuals that possess exceptional knowledge of the fund and investor services space to analyze, design, and implement best practices for this area while mentoring junior and mid-level staff to ensure best practices are followed. NOTE: this position does NOT manage investor relationships. The senior is required to be an exceptional team leader with a proven track record of process innovation in the fund administration, investor relations/services, or fund services area; possess strong organizational skills; attention-to-detail; succinct communication skills; and a dedication to excellence. Preference is for candidates with some project management expertise surrounding these specific functions.
JR or mid-level Associate: At the junior or mid-Associate level, we are seeking candidates that have at least 1, but preferably between 2 and 6 years’ experience working within investor services, investor relations, fund services, or fund administration with exceptional understanding of the transactions, processes and documentation within this area: new fund launch/fund closing process, subscriptions and redemption paperwork and processes, RFP's, regulatory fund filings, fund invoicing, fund offering memorandums, registries, client notifications, investor audit requests, fund memorandums, etc. Preference is for candidates that have an extremely strong track record of process improvement while having hands-on experience in the processing of these transactions.

At the Senior leadership level, this position will:
- Work cohesively with area managers to create fund and investor services best practices, document, and oversee execution, implementation, and adherence to the best practices developed. Will also train and mentor staff in regards to best practices.
- Perform team process quality checks to ensure adherence to processes, looking for gaps and opportunities for operational improvement. (Quality control and process improvement function)
- Manage relationships with external service providers to ensure adherence to established processes/procedures; counsel and ensure immediate correction where needed
- Oversee daily processes and procedures as well as continually create efficiencies.
- Partner with marketing, client service, accounting, finance, etc. to disseminate correct investor information.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members in regards to processes/procedures, etc.
At the Junior or mid-Associate level, this position will:
- Work cohesively with all parties (internal and external 3rd parties) to process as well as ensure efficient and accurate processing of subscriptions, redemptions, wires, etc.
- Assist in the fund launch and fund closure process.
- Investor communications.
- Perform QC functions to ensure all group processes and procedures are adhered to and performed excellently.
- Liaise and collaborate with fund service providers, custodians, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
General Qualifications:

- Minimum of a Bachelors’ degree with a competitive cumulative GPA.
- Unafraid to question or speak up amongst differing opinions to ensure only the best, highest quality processes are developed and implemented; process innovator; ability to hold self and others accountable.
Senior Qualifications (plus the general qualifications listed above):
- At least three years’ directly applicable experience performing the fund and investor services functions listed above with in-depth process improvement background. Preferably process improvements would have some technology focus.
- Some project management experience within the space is highly preferred.
- Prefer at least one year in a supervisory or management level position mentoring and overseeing junior level employees.
- At least one year experience (but preferably more) analyzing, developing, and refining best practices/quality processes for the fund services, fund administration, or investor services/relations area (OR) other closely related back office processes where in-depth experience in the processes and procedures of these areas has been gained. (Quality process design, development and control).
- Proven relationship building and management skills with a superb client service mentality
Junior or Mid-Associate level Qualifications (plus must meet general qualifications)
- At least one, but preferably 2 – 6 years hands-on experience with the processing of investor transactions (redemptions, subscriptions, wires); prefer candidates with some exposure to or experience with fund documentation and the RFP process.
- Demonstrated process improvement experience. (Process improvements need to be clearly noted on the resume).
- Sense of urgency, constant personal push toward excellence, and very strong client service mentality
Compensation:
- Junior/Mid-level Associate: will greatly vary DEO: base + lucrative bonus.
- Senior level: Mid to high $100's DOE: base + lucrative bonus negotiable for the right candidate
