Fund and Investor Services Senior (Staff Supervision/Investor Transactions/Process Improvement) Investment Management recruitment
We are seeking an exceptionally motivated, highly focused fund and investor services professional for this unique opportunity. The individual we are seeking will have exceptional knowledge of the fund and investor services space to analyze, design, and implement best practices for this area while overseeing junior and mid level staff. NOTE: this position does NOT manage investor relationships.
This position requires an exceptional team leader with a proven track record of process improvement in the fund administration, investor relations/services, or buy side fund services area; strong organizational skills; attention-to-detail; succinct communication skills; and a dedication to excellence. This position will be working on a fund and investor services team. This team is situated in the back office and is responsible for all investor transaction processing and support, new fund launch/fund closing process, subscriptions and redemption paperwork and processes, RFP's, regulatory fund filings, fund invoicing, fund offering memorandums, registries, client notifications, investor audit requests, distribution of fund memorandums, and so much more.
We are looking for candidates who enjoy working on a dynamic team that are "not" looking for investor relationship management positions; candidates that enjoy the back office functions but have the proven capability to build successful relationships, and pride themselves on accuracy and continuous improvement.
At the Senior Associate level, this position will:
- Mentor, oversee, and lead a team of junior and mid-level associates to ensure operational excellence.
- Work cohesively with area managers to create fund and investor services best practices and oversee execution, implementation, and adherence to the best practices developed.
- Perform team process quality checks to ensure adherence to processes, looking for gaps and opportunities for operational improvement. (Quality control and process improvement function)
- Manage relationships with external service providers
- Oversee daily processes and procedures as well as continually create efficiencies.
- Partner with marketing, client service, accounting, finance, etc. to disseminate correct investor information.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a Bachelors’ degree with a competitive cumulative GPA
- At least three years’ directly applicable experience performing the fund and investor services functions listed
- At least one year experience developing and refining best practices/quality processes for fund and investor relations/services (OR) other closely related back office processes. (Quality process design, development and control).
- Proven leadership and strong relationship building skills.
