Fund Controller – Real Estate recruitment
THE COMPANY
My client is a real estate investment management business with in excess of £5bn of property assets under management throughout numerous geographical regions. The business typically operates a value-add strategy for investors specialising in commercial and industrial real estate asset classes. The business is truly global with in excess of 200 staff in seven countries.
THE ROLE
This Property Fund Controller role will be accountable for two UK property funds and one focused on the French market, the position will be responsible for;
-The provision of statutory, management accounts and investor reporting.
-Liaising with local finance teams ensuring provision of monthly and quarterly reporting.
-Liaising with outsourced administrators to ensure service level agreements are being met.
-Attending investor meetings, dealing with the banks on loan covenants and compliance.
-Providing support to the asset managers, fund managers and the finance team.
THE PERSON
-ACA / ACCA or CIMA qualified.
-Experience of working within a real estate business, ideally a property fund.
-Be high numerate with a commercial approach, proactive and a self-starter.
