NEWLY QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT - FUNDS
The Challenge
Working in a team of 9, role will be varied to include the following:
- working with the Funds' Administrator, Auditor and Tax Advisor to ensure smooth daily NAV production and accounting processes within appropriate timeframes
- preparation of monthly and quarterly Fund returns, AUM, annual/interim financial statements (under IFRS and US GAAP) and investor composition reporting.
- preparation of monthly General Ledgers as well as monthly and quarterly regulatory reports.
- ad hoc project-based work, including with the Financial Analyst; various internal departments and the Funds' service providers.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate would be a recently qualified accountant with a Big 4 financial services audit background. Alternatively you will hold an accountancy qualification and a background in fund administration. Key attributes include:
- ability to work to strict deadlines.
- strong attention to detail.
- ability to work as part of a team
The Client
Our client is a multi-national, alternative investment firm focusing on managed futures and foreign exchange.
The Compensation
Remuneration will be in line with market rates to reflect technical ability and experience of candidate.
