Fund Management – Assistant Dealer recruitment

- Our client is the Asset Management arm of one Europe’s oldest banking dynasties with a considerable securities and stockbroking presence through out the UK and continental Europe.

THE OPPORTUNITY
- The London asset management operation is predominantly focused on the UK and European markets.
- However with planned expansion into global Equity markets, a new role has been created to cope with the increase in trading volumes and mandates for that new team.
- The Assistant Dealer role will work closely with the Head Dealer and the new global Equities team in the execution of deal orders for that business, and to provide cover for the head dealer for funds and institutional trading.
- You will also work with the head dealer to track and negotiate commission rates with sell-side brokers.
YOUR PROFILE
- The ideal candidate will have buy-side experience, with considerable exposure to global Equities (or at the very least UK and European).
- As important is the ability to add value throughout the dealing process and work very closely with the head dealer and new global equity team.
- You will also need to be CF30 qualified (essential) and therefore be able to “hit the ground running” once you have been registered
- There will be considerable scope for this role to grow with the business.
