Overview of the Role
The Fund Manager role will be part of the diversified fixed income team with a focus on credit. Within a team based structure the individual will manage portfolios that stretch across credit and government markets. The manager will have overall responsibility for a range of funds and the implementation in these funds of credit and rates views as agreed with the team. This will require a good understanding of credit and derivatives to ensure views are effectively implemented.
The role will also include assisting with the management and development of key products and we would expect this individual to work closely with the other members of the Fixed Income team in originating, researching and discussing investment ideas.
Technical Skills Qualifications Required
• Relevant degree qualification to high standard
• Additional qualification in finance i.e. ACA or CFA or equivalent
• Proven experience working within credit/derivatives
• FSA registration required
