The Company
A local Fund Manager are looking to acquire a head of operations - a strategic role with oversight of middle office, finance analytics and a focus on Product Management within the broader business.
The Opportunity
- Leadership role facing off to board for all operational functions within the Fund Manager
- Stakeholder management of internal functions - local and global, third party custodial relationship and Auditors
- Represent on steering committee for new product design with business, legal and technology
- Manage project management within the business- both short term tactical solutions and long term strategic initiatives.
- Oversee monitoring of performance, unit pricing and reporting via custodian
- Manage regulatory change within fund operations
- Manage tax management of funds and overall regime via Auditors, Tax Advisors and Custodian
- Presentation unit pricing errors, financial statements and periodical bespoke reporting to board of Directors
- Oversight of financial reporting function
- Development of staff - including performance reviews and coaching
- Hiring and training of staff
Your details
- Proven track record of achievement in a Funds, Asset or Investment Management environment
- History of successfully managing teams in either accountancy, analytics or operational environments
- Professional accountancy qualification
- Ability to re-engineer a process from initial problem analysis through to solution implementation.
- Strong organizational skills
- Impeccable communications both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously
