Fund Marketing Sales Executive

Responsible for marketing and selling the non-research services to buy side firms – specifically outsourced

Fund Marketing services to the Marketing and Distribution functions of Asset Managers. These services could be related to include RFP/RFI responses, Customer Reporting, Consultant Database updating, preparing sales and marketing presentations, editorial work, investment commentary fund factsheets, etc.

Point the research opportunities that this individual may spot in his/her client organization to his/her sales manager

Cultivating and nurture high quality executive relationships with heads of distribution in Asset Managers that can be leveraged to swing high value deals in our favor

Helping craft a core value proposition and customize it for different customers

Collaborating with all functions, and particularly the Marketing and Product Management function, to create buying value for all our prospects and customers

The candidate may also be required to perform such additional duties as the Company may require from time to time.

The job will have sales targets and the compensation will have a base and a sales commission

                                              *Desired Skills Experience

Minimum 5 years experience

Demonstrates a very high degree of initiative, self leadership, can take takes calculated risks and has strong execution skills

Can easily deploy a consultative selling style that aims to understand customer needs better and develop appropriate solutions:

• Probes to understand better by asking questions

• Takes personal responsibility for correcting client service problems

• Seeks information about the real, underlying needs of the client, providing insights, and recommending actions to address these needs

Provides helpful information to clients.

Excellent follow-through on client inquiries, requests and complaints. Ability to identify trends, anticipates and develops plans to meet future needs of clients.

Can think out of the box and will not easily accept constraints and barriers in meeting sales targets
