Fund of Funds Analyst recruitment
Millburn’s flagship FoF has a 31-year record of attractive returns, making it one of the oldest FoF in the world, and the Portfolio Manager and Senior Leaders of the firm have a great deal of experience in this style of investing.
This is a highly visible position, as the candidate will work directly with the Portfolio Manager and interact with the Senior Leaders of the firm.
Principal responsibilities
- Internal performance reporting for all FoF funds
- Maintain FoF manager database of prospective and existing investments
- Conduct manager research, analysis and due diligence
- Help prepare background materials for FoF Investment Committee meetings with Senior Leaders
- Support FoF marketing material preparation and updates
Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate degree with a high GPA from a top university or college;
- At least 3 years of working experience within the hedge fund industry, preferably with a similar principal responsibility set;
- Knowledge of financial markets, hedge fund strategies, and experience analyzing financial data is necessary;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas to groups;
- Detail-oriented;
- Self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team;
- Strong computer skills required; expert Excel skills required
