Fund of Hedge Fund Sales (a) recruitment
My client are an asset manager who have circa €2 billion invested in a range of FOHFs. Having just added a global macro strategy to their portfolio, require an experienced sales person to market their products out of London or Geneva.
The Role:
- Take responsibility for all aspects of the business development cycle.
- Ensure a proactive sales approach in order to successfully raise assets.
- Develop and maintain strong investor relationships in order to build an institutional client base.
- Be able to portray an in-depth understanding of hedge fund products in order to successfully market to investors.
- You will also take responsibility for managing your own client base, addressing any queries investors may have.
- An element of travel will be involved.
- This role has the prospect to be based in London or Geneva.
Skills/Experience:
- Can demonstrate a sound understanding of hedge fund strategies.
- Previous experience selling fund of funds is beneficial, experience in hedge funds is essential. (CTA, Global Macro, Long Only, Long Short, Event Driven etc.)
- Are able to show with sales figures, success in raising assets and targets hit.
- Experience working with European institutional investors is essential.
- Fluency in a European language would be beneficial but not essential.
- Have several years experience working for an asset manager (data or software sales will NOT be considered).
