Fund of Hedge Funds Analyst (Asia Equities) recruitment
The parent organisation is a multi-billion dollar asset manager with flagship funds in long-only equities, high-yield fixed income, emerging markets, multi-asset and absolute return strategies. With a very strong name in the market, the company is currently responding to a recent strategic review aimed at increasing both the profile and performance of the investment teams.
This FoHF analyst position specifically requires experience covering equities hedge funds in Asia, conducting fundamental manager research either from within a multi-manager or multi-asset team in another asset management company, or at a pure Fund of Hedge Funds house. The position is relatively senior and benefits from high exposure to senior management and concomitant responsibility: the senior analyst reports to and works with another (more) senior analyst who in turn reports directly to the CIO.
The funds covered may be advanced or secondary emerging markets in Asia, or developed markets. Experience that includes exposure to China, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan, or Indonesia would be an advantage. The client is particularly looking for candidates who have covered Asian hedge funds from London.
