Our client is a growing Hedge Fund company with a well-established presence internationally. As part of their commitment to grow the Asia business, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre, experienced Fund Administration / Fund Reporting Manager to support the hedge fund business.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be in charge of all the finance accounting matters of the existing hedge funds and a new fund going to be launched later this year. This is an all-rounded accounting position which you will be responsible for payment, journal entries, NAV calculation review, regular financial statement reporting, and issuing investor's newsletter, etc. You will be able to support the hedge fund portfolio from end to end accounting procedures. This role will be an exciting opportunity for a high-calibre individual with some good Big 4 audit or strong statutory reporting experiences as well as a proven track record in fund accounting and fund administration experiences in hedge funds. As a fund expert, you will be providing professional accounting advices to business on the new fund set up.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A university degree in accounting or business subject, with a professional CPA designation
- 8 to 10 years of experience in fund accounting / fund administration in hedge funds; previous Big 4 audit experience is a plus
- Strong and proven skills in fund administration logistics and statutory reporting within hedge funds
- A track record of stable and committed career is a Must
- Positive and 'can-do' attitude; hands-on and able to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel and Access)
- Fluency in English and Cantonese, spoken and written
