The roles reporting lines are into Hong Kong which has already provided some coverage of the region. Fund ranges are a selection of Asian non Japan and Chinese speciality long only funds. Role will be fairly autonomous and include regular travel, maintainance of existing relationships, cross selling ,explaining in house views and searching and pitching for new business in the region.

Would like someone who can service clients and make the regular calls to build interest and relationships before fund managers need to appear. Very happy for this hire to be able to close deals but the key requirement will be to build momentum in the terratorial space.

Candidates will have a minimum of 3 yrs fund sales behind them,preferably in the equities space. There is interesting product and story to offer but this will include cold calls and brand development.
