Position Description:
A major Investment Bank providing fund administration to Hedge Fund clients. The Senior Client Account Manager will participate in the initial and long-term development of the North American administration business. Responsibilities include client relationship management, managing the North American account management team, business processing flow, and integration with colleagues in other global locations.

Principal Duties:
• Accountable for client satisfaction and service experience with the organisation
• Initiate regular client communication, deliver client relationship reviews, and develop strategic client plans
• Responsible for full accuracy and deliverable timeliness from the North American accounting services team
• Deliver Thought Leadership to both clients and prospective clients
• Represent Morgan Stanley product and service offering in prospective client presentations
• Participate in developing the North American business plan and growth objectives
• Provide coaching, direction and development to the accounting services team
• Design, implement and oversee business policies, procedures and controls
• Work closely with firm IT to develop technology to comply with new policies and procedures
• Continuously seek to extend the capability of the business to better serve the client
• Build and manage relationships with senior management and other business owners to champion deliverables
• Integrate with global colleagues to ensure standard operating practice
• Deliver a premium global hedge fund administration service
• Represent the organisation at industry forums which can include public speaking responsibilities

Requirements:

• Broad and deep understanding of accounting and operational issues related to hedge fund administration
• Understanding client needs and requirements and identifying opportunities to utilise firm resources to achieve client satisfaction

Background:
• Qualified Accountant with public accounting experience servicing investment related companies
• 10+ years of management experience in Hedge Fund and Off-Shore Investment Company administration, particularly relationship management experience
• Experience gained from asset manager, fund administrator, public accounting firm, prime brokerage, or securities servicing firm
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
