Fund/Asset/Pension Mgmt Software Sales Executive recruitment
A leading global provider of critical information to decision makers in the financial, legal, tax and accounting, scientific, healthcare, and media markets, powered by the world's most trusted news organisation is seeking a Sales Executive with experience selling financial software in the asset mgmt/investment mgmt/pension fund space.
Key accountabilities include:
- Exceed annual revenue targets for product and services
- Define and implement clearly defined goals and activities to support pipeline development and business plans for territory development
- Adopt and adhere to sales process including sales gates, qualification, positioning and strategy
- Devise a business development plan for campaigns and efforts for driving growth in territory; build pipeline that is 3x annual target at minimum
- Create and implement account strategies/plans to address opportunities
- Collaborate with other sales execs to share best practices
- Develop and share account specific demo strategies with the sales consulting team
- Maintain commercial viability by working with Product and Strategy teams to report on product competitive positioning and marketplace trends and observations
- Develop relationships with Account Management execs in the larger sales channel and outside 3rd parties that drive business development
Mandatory skills:
- Proven experience in sales in financial software (preferably mid-back office in the asset mgmt/investment mgmt/pension fund space)
- Solid experience in a similar solutions vendor
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to present clearly
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Desired skills:
- Some experience of working as a consultant or in pre-sales in a similar solutions vendor
- Preferably degree educated.
