We are currently recruiting for a Funding Plan Analyst to join our team in London.

This new role reports to the Liquidity Manager within ALM. The role-holder will be responsible for analysing funding planning activity.

Key responsibilities are to produce the liquidity forecasts and tactical funding plan for the San UK Group, liaise with all relevant parties in matters of Funding Planning activity management and support the Liquidity Manager as required.

As a Funding Plan Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Strong Liquidity and Financial management experience gained within a Financial Services company
Educated to degree level with financial post graduate studies
Previous FSA or liquidity reporting experience
Knowledge of FSA, Basel, ICB regulatory framework
Good relationship building skills with a positive ability to deal with cross business functions at all levels
Strong ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting deadlines
Well-developed analytical skills
Advanced Excel and Power Point
Presentation skills - both producing and presenting

As a Funding Plan Analyst your main responsibilities will involve:

Producing the required Funding Plan of San UK. The role-holder must fully build and maintain San UK's Funding Plan
Work and developing close working relationships with the key business lines, Finance and the Funding Desk to receive all required inputs into the Funding Plan
Being fully responsible for the maintenance of the Funding Plan. Key responsibilities will include updating, testing, improving and making improvement suggestions regarding the Funding Plan tool
Producing detailed analysis of Funding Plan requirements and support the production of appropriate information for liquidity management
Running and producing sensitive and detailed analysis on Funding Plan requirements.
Being accountable to deal with specific requirements that are oriented to produce valuable information for liquidity management

Salary: Up to £42,000 plus excellent benefits
Location: London
