This role involves:

SCC (Vic) is a well established not for profit organisation. We offer variety and challenge in a friendly, professional environment where you will have the opportunity to bring your own flair and creativity to developing existing and potential fundraising initiatives.

Your experience and interpersonal skills will be an asset as you work with current and new sponsors, and develop positive donor programs and relationships. Creative and succinct writing skills will be important for preparing grant applications, establishing regular correspondence with donors and sponsors, and preparing press releases and articles relating to your fundraising activities. You will also work with an external consultant to develop and coordinator the organisation's direct mail campaigns.

As well, you will plan and manage two major annual fundraising activities (a corporate charity golf day and Mother's Day brunch) together with a range of other events (including the SCC (Vic) AGM). You won't be limited by existing fundraising strategies: we will draw on your experience and initiative to introduce other opportunities.

Previous fundraising and event management experience is essential. As this is a role where you will manage several projects at any given time, you will need excellent organisational skills and competency with Microsoft products.

An attractive salary package will be negotiated with a person who has the necessary skills and drive. Formal qualifications in fundraising, marketing, business, event management or similar is required. You will also need a current driver's licence.
