Fundraising Project Management Analyst/Associate recruitment

Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) is a leading global alternative asset manager with over 350 professionals globally and 15 years' experience specializing in infrastructure fund management. MIRA's Private Placement Group (PPG) is responsible for the establishment of MIRA's unlisted infrastructure and real asset funds by marketing and securing equity commitments from large institutional investors (i.e., pension funds, foundations and endowments, insurers) and the investment consultants who advise them. The role will support the project management function of the PPG team to direct and execute successful marketing plans for funds currently in the market. The candidate will be involved in all facets of the private fund capital raising process and work with colleagues from MIRA's fund teams around the world.

Key Responsibilities and Job Duties:

Marketing Materials: Update and ensure provision of fund marketing materials to PPG Relationship Managers for use in client and consultant meetings. Assist Project Managers with developing all fund marketing materials including Private Placement Memoranda, pitchbooks, data rooms, due diligence questionnaires, and other due diligence materials. Work closely with fund and compliance teams to ensure that marketing materials are approved in a timely manner and in accordance with firm's policies and procedures.

Due Diligence: Work with PPG Relationship Managers and MIRA fund teams to respond to investors' qualitative and quantitative due diligence questions and questionnaires. Draft responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

Investor Database: Responsibility and ownership over the diligent maintenance of the team's investor database (CRM system). Track fund-level fundraising progress. Create fund marketing status reports by extracting data from the CRM and using Excel to create reports. Communicate fundraising status and results to senior members of the team.

Research: Compile research on prospects and existing investors for Relationship Managers. Research and track competitor activity and market dynamics in real time, including fund terms, fundraisings and transactions. Research data, anecdotes and illustrations to draft internal documents on investment topics, themes, case studies and industries. Compile industry research (i.e. infra 101 publications).

Roadshows/Investor Events: Assist Project Managers in planning and coordinating fund marketing roadshows with local and internationally-based fund teams. Track roadshow target lists and meeting schedule progress. Draft briefing notes on investors for fund team representatives. Work with team assistants to ensure seamless logistics. Prepare materials for investor events, including developing agendas, reviewing portfolio performance and outlook, researching the industry and competitive landscape and determining event logistics. Draft investor briefing notes on investors for MIRA attendees. Assist Project Managers in planning events for both current and prospective investors.

Job Requirements Including Qualifications and Skills:

· Undergraduate degree required (BA/BS)

· Minimum 1 year experience in investment banking, private equity, or financial product marketing; Series 7 and 63 license preferred, or ability to obtain

· Highly motivated self starter with ability to work both independently and in a team setting

· Demonstrated experience providing exceptional client service; Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high pressure environment; Able to maintain strong attention to detail coupled with a sense of urgency

· Possess strong writing skills and research ability; Possess strong data management and software knowledge, including MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
