Funds Control Officer – Pricing Expertise (m/f) recruitment

Your main responsibilities
The primary responsibility will be an oversight on our service provider focused on the pricing of the assets held in our sub-funds portfolios. The monitoring of pricing committees and fair value committees, the elaboration of pricing memos, the review and challenge of the existing procedures on pricing to look for effectiveness. Additional responsibilities will be a combination of monitoring of operational activities on the fund range, daily interaction with the pricing vendors and sources, management of NAV error remediation process, applying reasonability controls on daily NAVs calculated by external parties.
To allow this, the successful candidate must:
- Be able to oversee a range of data and data providers supporting our business in the process of fee structuring, fee model oversight and ensuring financial impact to the Manco is duly assessed.
- Identify key process improvements and ensure that the delivery of service meets expectations, the service is fully integrated seamlessly into ING IM processes and the communication between the ING IM, internal business partners and external vendors is constant and focused.
- Develop and promote relationships with internal and external vendors (Fund accountants, Custodians, Auditors, Transfer Agents etc.) and internal business partners (Risk Management, Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal, Tax , Product Development, Client Services, Legal etc...).
- Define and facilitate a governance process aiming at supporting these relationships.
Your experience and skills
- Master in Finance
- Minimum 2/3 years experience in pricing
- The candidate must be familiar with the valuation of Luxembourg UCITs/UCI and their associated end-to-end processes. In addition in carrying out their responsibilities and duties, the job holder ensures effective compliance and control in their own area and promotes a positive attitude to compliance and controls.
- The candidate must be open to challenges and have a critical and risk mindset to be able to manage project deliveries and follow up.
- English is a must

Your work environment
The Control team is the centre of control, expertise and knowledge to ensure one of the functions of the Corporate Governance arm of ING IM as a UCITS IV Management Company and executes daily oversight of all BAU activities performed by external as well as internal parties on the Luxembourg Fund range, owns the audit and consultancy relationships.
