Funds Marketing Manager                                         

Role:

Operating on a cross border basis from Ireland the successful candidate will be dedicated to developing the marketing, sales and client service functions for their B2B businesses (in expansion build up), initially focusing on a subsidiary company with an institutional funds offering, domiciled in Luxembourg.

The role will involve the following specific / general tasks

1.       Responsibility for developing implementing and managing a co-ordinated marketing strategy for their institutional businesses ensuring the core message is consistent but specifically tailored for each target market segment    

2.       Responsibility for establishing relationships with and becoming the focal point for new and existing Institutional Sales Promoters, with the aim of pro-actively providing Institutional sales support to increase sales in each target market and identify opportunities to leverage on B2B development across related Group businesses.

4.       Responsibility for Institutional Client Servicing for the B2B business line ensuring it is an effective product and service solutions provider for its target client base.

5.       Project manage marketing, sales and client servicing related initiatives identifying KPI’s for 3rd party service providers, monitoring on-going performance and ensuring internal and external resources are leveraged to provide maximum results

6.       Responsibility for co-ordinating the efforts of various internal stakeholders and external service providers to deliver professional marketing, sales materials and presentations for the business and underlying funds.

7.       Managing all communication materials (website, brochures, flyers, adverts, etc.) and offering PR support in order to develop and increase brand awareness through multiple initiatives (web, video, social media, marketing campaign, traditional channels, etc.)

8.       Responsibility for managing the business web-site, content provision, general updates as well as managing the relationship with third party service providers providing services to update and maintain same. 

Skills / Competencies

Prior Marketing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience is a prerequisite as is a familiarity with digital media and command of new technologies.

The role itself requires a flexible independent self-starter with the ability to multi task, to influence and deliver results in the face of competing demands and according to strict time constraints.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

1.       Innovative self-starter with more than 5 years financial services experience in the funds industry ideally in a marketing, business development or client servicing role however broad experience in multi-disciplinary roles may suffice

2.       A creative person, comfortable with unstructured work flows ambiguity and challenge, who is  inventive and capable of pursuing innovative solutions to solve problems/take advantage of opportunities and to champion the resultant change process

3.       A natural collaborator who can work effectively across organizational and functional boundaries, sometimes through teams where key players may need motivation and encouragement to collaborate in new ways.

4.       Excellent communication skills, both oral written as well as advanced levels of Word PowerPoint a prerequisite.

5.       Familiarity with and knowledge of Regulatory frameworks and processes, legal and financial product documentation as well as an overview of the investment process and associated concepts / terminology desirable.

Experience:                          In excess of 5 -7 years industry experience with a demonstrable track record of achievement
