Futures E-Trading Client Services
Based in the front-office, working as part of a team, you will be responsible for the operational support of Electronic Execution platforms, covering global Futures markets with a primary focus on Europe. There will be a high level of interaction with clients/users, so client facing skills are crucial. The role will involve handling day-to-day requests from clients, encompassing the configuration of new users and accounts and you will answer questions and queries relating to front-end platforms. You will be responsible for following up on client rejections and technical issues; dealing directly with Exchanges and ISVs to troubleshoot. At times there will be a requirement to assist in both mandatory testing and client UAT.
- Strong knowledge of Futures and Options markets (ideally 3+ years) – preferably at a sell side organisation (not ruling out ISVs).
- Understanding of Market Connectivity.
- Good knowledge of the full trading life-cycle.
- Experience in operational support, particularly in a front-office environment, involving custom-built and hosted solutions.
- Excellent communication skills along with a strong passion for client service.
- The ability to work effectively in a team.
- The ability to work well under pressure to provide timely and accurate solutions to system problems and client issues.
- An understanding of FIX protocol and FIX solutions desirable.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of UL, PATS, CQG, TT, ORC, BLOOMBERG EMSX/TRADEBOOK. Understanding of FIX Protocol.
