Futures Operations Staff recruitment
Responsibilities
- Set up new accounts in the back office system.
- Filing of exchange reporting such as large trader and PCS.
- Balancing money and positions on US and foreign exchanges and making adjustments to the back office database when applicable.
- Process give ins and give ups in FEC
- Process MOS trades
- Resolve top day and T+1 trade breaks
- Monitor and facilitate deliveries on US exchanges
- Testing of new contracts set up in back office system. Work with Singapore development team on issues found (communicate issues and retest).
- Other duties as required as the business grows
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years working experience in the futures industry in operations.
- Solid understanding of futures clearing process including position reporting, balancing, option expiration, transfers, setting up new accounts, what else.
- Comfortable working with customers on operations related issues.
- Knowledge of CME FEC system.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Delivery experience a plus.
- Necessary traits: Absolute integrity, strong sense of ownership, detailed oriented solid communication skills, ability to reflect and learn from mistakes, and willingness to learn and grow with the company.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
