Futures Options Clearing Specialist
Leading Investment bank in London is currently recruiting for a Future and Options clearing analyst. Candidate would have experience in brokerage including clearing for all exchanges on all major markets. The role will be quite varied and the candidate will be cross-trained in other areas.
Responsibilities: -
· Developing trade ideas and portfolio management strategies in derivative markets
· Identifying relative value between and among derivative and cash instruments
· Quantifying the risks and profit opportunities of trades involving futures and options
· Executing client trades for Fixed Income, Money Market, Foreign Exchange, Commodity and Equity futures and options on global derivatives exchanges
· Clearing and settling futures and options transactions
· Posting the margins required by exchanges, using cash or securities in ways most convenient to the client
· Providing operational information about client transactions in flexible and responsive electronic or paper formats
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Extensive FO Operational knowledge
· Clearvision and GMI
· Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate across multiple aspects of the organization at various levels.
· Ability to identify process inefficiencies to improve capacity, efficiency and control.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure
· Strong time management skills required to meet time critical deadlines and priorities
