Futures & Options, LME Team Leader – Exchange Interface Specialist recruitment
The Exchange Interface (EI) group's primary responsibility is to provide an effective clearing / settlement service of exchange traded derivative products for both internal and external clients.
The roles responsibilities of the LME team leader are as follows:
• Manage a team of 3 LME matching staff
• Reportable to Operations and FO
• Responsible for objective setting, performance monitoring and appraisals
• LME matching and deliveries
• Extensive knowledge of LME controls and regulations
• Understanding of adherence to control actions and the audit implications
• Knowledge of delivery processes
• In depth knowledge of trade flows including downstream system impact
• Knowledge of payment and posting flows for cash adjustments
• Ability to review processes regularly and update procedures as required
Candidates should have the following skills and experience:
• Proven ability to manage
• Strong leadership and motivation skills
• Responsible for setting objectives and monitoring performance
• Must be able to liaise with senior management
• Good project management skills
• Dynamic proactive team player, ensuring that the team works together in the most efficient manner
• An ability to identify process procedural inefficiencies to improve capacity, efficiency and control.
• Strong client focus and attention to customer care
• Strong PC skills
• Extensive listed derivatives knowledge across exchanges. Products asset classes
